The ABC STUDY PROJECT on Acute Coronary Syndrome is an ongoing, prospective investigation designed to reflect, as closely as possible, an unbiased population of patients with ACS.

The original aim of the ABC study was to follow the natural long-term history of a sample of unselected patients with AMI and to evaluate the prognostic value of a number of baseline clinical variables.
